The final event in the Saddleworth Networking calendar hit a spicy note as attendees made their way to Saddleworth Cookery School in Diggle. Cookery school owner Pam Jones had prepared a selection of herbs and spices for guests to make their own curry paste, which was ultimately turned into pans of delicious steaming curry.
Helping proceedings along was the very generous donation from Pearson of a few bottles of Prosecco – which certainly loosened up any less enthusiastic guests. Before long the air was filled with the heady scent of eastern spices being toasted and turned into a range of different pastes depending on your preference (and tolerance) for heat.
As the evening continued, further instructions were given and more ingredients were chopped, fried and simmered so that everybody left clutching a foil tray or two, full to the brim with a tasty curry.
The event rounds off what has been a great year for Saddleworth Networking, and we look forward to welcoming more new guests in 2019. If you would like to receive updates about our future events, then make sure you sign up to the mailing list.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all involved with Saddleworth Networking. See you again in February 2019.
